I have been an Alaskan since 1974 and fortunate enough to travel across much of this magnificent state. When asked about Alaska I am often told that I sound like a paid advertisement by the Alaska Board of Travel or the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce.

My love of the outdoors is what drove my passion to leave Oklahoma and move some 38 years ago. My interest include bowhunting, fishing, snowmobiling, hiking, camping and of course photography. In 1997 I won my first national photo contest hosted by Photographic Magazine by winning the Grand Prize.

My best endeavors to capture this vast and beautiful land coupled with never ending opportunities of its diverse wildlife seem to always leave me humbled and challenged while increasing my passion to chase a perfect image with camera. I would like to share a few of my photographs that have left impressions on me in hopes that you will find interest or reason to pause as well.
